Overview
During April, May, or June we prepare your sprinkler system for the season ahead! If you had us come out to winterize your irrigation system, chances are your system will be ready to go come spring. Turner Irrigation will inspect your system and make sure no damage was sustained during the winter.
During the tasks involved with spring startup, we test your system and put everything in place for it to begin working properly for the year.
OUR PROCESS
remove water
Shutting off the water to the system and the back drain.
drain backflow
Freezing water in the backflow assembly will damage the internal components and can crack the brass body.
perform blowout
Blowout of heads, rotors, valves and lines before freezing temperatures set in.
Disconnection
Disconnecting and draining the pump and intake if they are part of your specific system.
controller shut down
Powering down the controller.
